An update on I’m a Mathematician
That’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who contributed to this year’s success. Sadly though, I’m a Mathematician Ireland will not be running beyond the end of 2024. Unfortunately, Science Foundation Ireland will be ending their funding of I’m a Mathematician. This means we’re no longer able to offer the activity in 2025. We’re actively seeking funding to get I’m a Mathematician Ireland up and running again. ✨ 2024 round-up The I’m a… projects started in Ireland in 2012, and it’s been another great year. There have been 64 Chats with 39 schools from across Ireland. Over 1500 students connected with mathematicians like you. We saw excellent connections between the mathematicians and students during Chats. You helped students see the real-world relevance of what they are learning in the classroom.
